Once more commonly known as Leprocauns and Dam dolls, Gonks, Wishniks and Norfins, troll dolls were a huge success in North America and some parts of Europe during the sixties. Trolls enjoyed periods of renewed popularity again in every decade since the sixties and numerous manufacturers created examples including Russ Berrie, Applause, Jakks Pacific, Hasbro, Nyform, Mattel, Trollkins and Ace Novelty.
